You don't need to do a full restore. Hold on

The only tricky part is accessing safari from an unactivated iphone.

Ok. 1.1.1 doesn't use displayorder.plist. Use this file instead: http://www.modmyi.com/forums/attachm...3&d=1192657948

    Add that here: /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/

Then reboot. That should solve the problem

Again .. he doesn't have to restore his phone, just replace the m68p.plist file

Ah i was under the impression that it still used displayorder.plist.

Yeah, 1.1.1 changed from displayorder.plist, to M68P.plist. If you replace that file, your springboard should be as good as new.

How do you do that, though?

I saved that file, but add it to where? I can't edit the CoreServices on my Macbook. How do I add it on the iphone?

Sorry if I sound like an idiot - but I'm having the same issue.

I'm not too familiar with Macs. You may be able to access it via iFuntastic though.
