Default No Service -> Service Needed.
    Hello fellow MMI people,
In february i purchased an unlocked iphone over ebay. it was 1.1.1 not sure what was used to unlock it. about 3 weeks ago after speaking to a friend of mine which also had an iphone, he had 1.1.4. so after the talk i decided ill update my firmware and jailbreak/unlock/activate it. i did some research and found that iliberty+ was easy and safer to use (compared to ziphone).

    what i did was:
    restore to 1.1.4 via itunes.
used ilberty+ to jb/unlock/activate the phone + other stuff (ie installer, wifi bluetooth fix etc)

everything worked for about 1.5 weeks where i started to lose sound and the phone became very slow, followed by the no service and then the 'service needed' message.

i did abit of more research on the internet/forums and read that some people restored their phones and things like that. i attempted those methods and it seemed to work, until today. today the same thing started to happen again, no service, service needed message.

my phone details in bbinfo are as follows:
    modem firmware: 04.04.05_G
    bootloader version 3.9_M3S2

i installed bootneuter just to see if that had any info but didnt change anything incase it made it worse, some details in there as follows:

    version: (3.9|4.6) 3.9 is highlighted
    neuter: off
    fakeblank: off

    unlock: on

hope that information helps. if someone could please assist me in fixing this irritating issue it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advanced.

Ps: i am on optus network (Australia)

I have this BootNeuter config on my 1.1.1 OTB, pwned to 1.1.4:

Version: 4.6 highlighted (better BL vers. comming since 1.1.2 OTB)
Neuter: ON (BL Neutered, resists restores)
Fakeblank: OFF (ON only for 3.9 and recommended for developpers)
Unlock: ON (to work with any SIMCard)

    (sorry for my siouxglish) ;-)
