Thread: Determine initial baseband version

    Default Determine initial baseband version
    Hi,

I was wondering if there are any resources, or perhaps any techniques, that would allow me to figure what my baseband version was on my iPhone before I ever did anything to it. I'm hoping to send the phone in for repair and I'm trying to make sure it is completely stock before doing so. I've only ever ZiPhoned it (I started with 3.9 BL so it didn't affect that). I refurbished the baseband through ZiPhone, but I'm not sure if that puts it in the original state or not.

...so can anyone tell me how to figure this out?

    Thanks!

EDIT: Does the baseband automatically get updated with firmware updates? In other words, would users who don't dabble with jailbreaking/unlocking see changes in there baseband over the course of normal use and updates?
