    i have a unlocked iphone, the question i pose to you all is ........ if i use the reset iphone button in the general settings on the iphone will this send the ipone back to factory stsndsrd, i.e lock back to AT&T or just remove all settings and apps i have put on, regards. i am using 1.0.2

    IT'll remove all settings for email, networking etc, won't lock your phone again

    Be very carefull that the 1.1.1 firmware has not downloaded..or you'll have to unlock the phone with anysim 1.1

    thanks for reply, i have not and never have had the 1.1.1 update , so things should be ok, regards and thanks for replies

    ok then what if i use the erase all content and settings, will the same happen, i.e lock it again, regards

    as you have been so helpfull, and i am a noob at all this......... when i use independence, the phone is jailbroken........ should it be constantly kept in that state or should i send it back to jail, for normal daily use, regards

    As long as it is syncing to iTunes...I see no need to rejail

    no it is actually working like a dream and from a man that gets the latest and greatest mobiles/pda's as they are released, this has been money well spent, regards

    I am using firmeware 1.1.1. i have the same question. will it relock if i erase all content and settings?

    thus resetting will not give negative effect on my apps,videos and music?my firmware is 1.1.3. thanks!!
