Default Reviving a water damaged Verizon iPhone / Replacement Options
    Hey guys,

I recently came back from hawaii where my iPhone was in the ocean for approximately 30 seconds. I used a blow dryer the first day and put it in rice, and changed the rice daily for a week. Tried to turn it on today and it wouldn't boot.

    Any other suggestions?

If it is unable to boot, are there any easy ways to get around the watermark

This forum was highly recommended from a friend and I'm new to the forum. Thanks in advance! =)

Was your phone insured? I'm in the UK so don't know the situation in the USA but here in the UK my bank provides free mobile phone insurance and my household contents insurance would also cover it.

Failing that, I believe AT&T in the USA do out of warranty replacements for $199 and I would assume Verizon would do something similar - I'm sure they would tell you what they can offer if you call them.
