Default Need help changing ATT Logo
i am trying to change the att logo to a custom logo and it seems to not work for me...i am using win xp and followed the direction to the is what i did..btw i got custom ringers to work so i dont know why this wont.

plug in iphone and quit all itunes/ipod service/itune helper in winxp task mgr

all files i need are in cphonedmg
(jailbreak, iphoneinterface, custom png, service.plist and etc files that custom ringers hack i had.

    run cmd
    type jailbreak
restart iphone to say "please connect to itunes"
jailbreak sends files to iphone and restarts
    type iphoneinterface
    gointo cd /System/Library/CoreServices/
    putfile FSO_CARRIER_ATT.png then
    putfile putfile Default_CARRIER_ATT.png
    then i went to folder
    putfile Service.plist
    and exit iphoneinterface

when i type putfile "XXXXXX" it says "1" So that means it did copy over
hard boot the iphone by pressing home and power button for a couple of seconds and restart and what do you know...freaking att logo still there

When you use the putfile, use the full path. So your command would look like this:

    put file System/Library/CoreServices/

and then you should be ok.

Yeah do what poetic said and as long as ur using the newer jailbreak version you shouldnt have to replace the service.plist i dont think.

  5. #5
    rmdir System/Library/CoreServices/
    rmdir System/Library/CoreServices/

    putfile System/Library/CoreServices/
    putfile System/Library/CoreServices/

rmdir is really not necessary since all files will overwrite

but correct file structure and proper capitals and lowercase are essential
