Is there VLC player for iphone? I did not know about this, where can I get it? VLC is a great player. It supports most of the formats. Although I am not sure, I think your file is stored in any kind of temporary file folder. You may check.

    Smile Where and how
First you will need access to the filesystem. My preferred way is using a small windows app called iFunBox. Once you run that, you will want to drop your AVI files into this folder (by default, but can be changed)

    /var/mobile/media

I recommend creating a folder or folders under that media folder for your movies.
