Default Do you have to restore before ipwning?
I was wondering if you need to restore your jailbroken (or unlocked but that doesnt apply to me) iphone before you ipwn it. I heard somewhere this was a low level process that you don't need to restore but I don't really know.

I'm actutally wondering about why it's asking to locate BL files...it says to check the help for more info, but I can't seem to find anything about it...anyone know what this is about?

They can't have apples own stuff included because it's illegal and they will be sewed big time. Just google it as he above says and you will find it.

i am actually looking for an answer to the original question asked.
    I have a 111 OTB, upgraded to 113 unlocked.
Do I just follow the instructions on the guide to using pwnage?
or do I restore to 114 using itunes, then follow the guide?
OR do I update through itunes, then follow the guide?

yeah I want to know if I have to restore before I do this. I'd rather not have to install all the crap on my phone again.

Either way you will have to re install of your apps, until we figure out how to include the desired apps in the custom .ipsw files created by pwn tool.

As far as I can tell, no you don't have to restore. I didn't before I originally pwned my phone, but then I decided to start fresh anyway, since all my apps were going to leave.
