Default Transfer Iphone phone book to bluetooth radio
    Hi guys,
I have a problem... my iphone's Phone book cannot be transfered to my car radio thru bluetooth... everything else works and I can receive and make call just fine... my phone is PAIRED to my Pioneer Bluetooth radio... question is if anyone is listenning... can you guy create a program that will enable all of us NEWBIES to transfer our address book via bluetooth to our car radios ?
Read a few post thru google and it seems to work with the new BMW radios... so whats making it work in those ones and not on pretty much every other bluetooth radio ?

what if you uploaded contacts using a different phone, and then changed the iphones MAC address to the one used to upload the contacts originally?

I used to be able to upload my phonebook to my BMW under version 1.14 - it would connect via bluetooth and would say "transmitting" - then the phonebook would appear as follows Name1-Mobile, Name2-Mobile, Name3-Home, etc.

After upgrading to 2.1 - none of the names or call history (limited to call history with that phone on the car) appears.

I was posed with this problem tonight, transferring my iphone phonebook to my sat nav. It's actually much easier than i thought!

My phonebook is saved in address book on my mac so all i had to do was "export address book" to a .vcf and then bluetooth it on to my sat nav.

    Good times!

Might not solve anyones problem but it certainly worked for me!

    :Bump:

I work at an Infiniti dealership and have been looking for a third party app that will allow the user to transfer phonebook contacts via Bluetooth via their iPhone. Any interest in dev'ing an app for this?
