Default Getting Iphone Best unlock method? and Pc or Mac?
I just bought and iphone that I want to unlock to use in TMobile. I have seen here several methods to do this. Is there any best method for a new phone? I thought about using Liberty. I aslo was wondering if using a Mac or a PC would be better to unlock the iphone since I have both. Thanks in advance for you responses.

For your new phone, iPlus and iLibertyX have better long term advantages over ZiPhone. PC or Mac, it doesn't matter.

Could you explain "long term advantages"? I'm thinking of using iLibertyX, what are these advantages?

    Thanks!

If you use ZiPhone, it will downgrade your bootloader version from 4.6 to 3.9 in order to unlock it. The problem with this is that it cannot easily be upgraded again. With iPlus or iLibertyX, the bootloader gets downgraded to a special "fake" version that allows for the phone to be unlocked, but can be upgraded back to 4.6 and returned to the full "virgin" state that you bought it as. So if you need to return your phone to Apple in the long term, if you use iLibertyX or iPlus you have less of a chance of your phone's warranty being voided than you would if you used ZiPhone.
