    Default Safe to upgrade from 1.1.1 to 1.1.4?
    I have a jailbroken 1.1.1 and I want to upgrade using "Restore". I don't really mind having all my apps deleted, but will it also delete my stored numbers or even brick my iPhone? Could someone please help me out.

    Also how could I do this process without ruining my iPhone?

    Since you are on 1.1.1, it is safe to just restore to 1.1.4 and use ziphone; you will not brick or ruin your phone. All your apps will be deleted but if you want your stored numbers to stay then just sync the contacts with outlook or something else through itunes BEFORE upgrading and make sure that they are saved on the computer.

    When you upgrade, set it up as a new iPhone (not from backup) but then sync the contacts from outlook back to the phone

    Thanks a ton. What is ziphone?

    It's a program used for unlocking/jailbreaking/etc.

    Here ---> http://www.ziphone.org/

    There is also iLiberty+ ---> http://theiphoneproject.org/

    I used ZiPhone for my phone and it worked great. There's tons of info about both of those on this sit, and there are also other programs you can use.
    iEat. iSleep. iPhone.
