Default Massive amount of help needed :wallbash::help::wallbash
hi guys, apologies in advance for my idiocy, however im starting to give up hope. A while back i jailbroke one of my iphones using pangu, all was fine phone was fab, but my son became uninterested and it hasn't been used for ages, he has now decided that he wants the phone again but when we charged it, it never moved off the apple logo screen so tried restoring and i just had a load of errors, now its stuck on the "connect to itunes" pic. tried doing a restore in DFU mode but just get the error 0xE8000065. the cable and pc work for the other two iphones so i really don't: know what to do. any help or suggestions ( step by step tips ) much appreciated

As far as I know, if DFU doesn't work your only option is to hope you're still under warranty.

I noticed that you logged off. I was hoping you'd see my post. There are ways to cure your issue.
Also you can google that error number and I'm sure you'd get a bunch of results.

Now that I think about it, I had a very similar issue and the problem ended up being the cable. See if maybe you can borrow someone's Apple OEM cable and if that makes a difference. I only happened to remember after goggling that error number for you. It wasn't the exact same number I got, but very similar, so the same solution might help.
