Exclamation Help! iphone 4 stuck in recovery and Tinyumbrella & Ireb don't work!
    Hello,

I am desperatly hoping someone could help! When upgrading to IOS 7 (.02, I think) my Iphone 4 got stuck in a restore loop, only giving me the option to restore back to Factory Settings, which I really don't want to do. As my home button is hardly working, I read about my options a bit and have already tried Tinyumbrella, Rei Boot, even Redsn0w and nothing...

I am not looking to preserve baseband or any of that more advanced stuff - my phone is not Jailbroken thus my only real concern is not loosing all my pictures, videos and recordings (I am a singer/songwriter and this is a LOT of important stuff in there...).

The PC I last back up my phone is history and I hadn't backed up on ICloud in ages, so my only true hope is that someone can help me find/walk me through a program that can pull it out of recovery loop and restart!

I will be forever grateful! Many thanks!

    Help Please!!!

So, you're in recovery mode and didn't back up your phone prior to updating???

    Precisely...

In fact I did back up some time ago, which wouldn't help all that much... but I don't even have access to that pc anymore tsc

*update* Even though my home button is malfunctioning I got it to work long enough to put it in to DFU mode. Does it get easier from there?

Download iExplorer and hook your phone up to the computer. If something shows up in that program, you might be able to recover the pictures. I'm not sure about your contacts...

    Found this, too:
"for exiting from recovery mode you should set auto boot TRUE ...
for this you can use iREB from iH8sn0w , find it with google search download it and after runing
in second tab , click on set auto boot true ... Done ."

Sorry Thazsar, I was still hoping one of these would work, but have exausted all of them to no avail... Got real excited with the possibility of IExplorer, but nope...

I had already tried Ireb (as wella s others such as Tiny umbrella, recboot, even redsn0w) and it does appear to start working, the apple logo appears... And then it goes right back to the itunes logo.

I don't know what else to do, any other ideas?

And you tried the 'hold Home button while plugging into computer' trick?

    Found this...sounds promising!

Also read this and seemed to have worked for some:
"I used a free trail tool named iPhone Data Recovery, that does not have to register, just proceed straith to free trail and click, it restored my phone back to its original state and out of the dread recovery mode. It also apply to the iPhones that stuck on recovery mode after jailbreak iOS 7."
