Default Can an iPhone install desktop console .debs?
Can an iPhone 3G, jailbroken and running Whited00r 6 and iOS 3.1.3 use its dpkg command to install .debs for console applications on Linux desktops? I was hoping to install GHCi and some other console applications. Would it work, or might it break my phone? Thanks for your help.

Wouldn't have thought so. Linux apps don't run under osx so even less likely they'd run under iOS

It seems unlikely but .debs are source code, so if the dpkg has the appropriate compilers it should compile for the iPhone just like Cydia packages do. I can't see why it won't work even though it seems that it shouldn't.
