Default 4S iOS 7 iTunes restore error 1 (NOT -1)
I've Googled hi and low and cant find anything worth while. All the results point to -1

It's a 4S 16GB, was running iOS 7 for a couple of weeks - decided to sell so just did a erase from the Settings app.

The erase never finished and now I'm getting iTunes error 1 when ever I try to restore.

Has anyone come across this before or knows a way round it?

    Default Same Issue
I'm having the same issue. I tried updating iTunes, tried a second computer, same error. Did you figure out what the problem was?

Please keep us updated if you find a fix for this error. It seems that everyone says the -1 error is a baseband problem, but the 1 is not.

This all happened when using itunes to update to ios 7.0.2, was working fine on ios 6.1.3.

The Picture i attached shows the error (with 4S on itunes) and what the iPhonewiki gave me for errors.

Yes i have the latest iTunes, yes i have tried different usb ports, cords and computers (2 mac, 2 pc's windows 7)

My iPhone 5 is restoring normally without error

Have you tried putting iPhone into dfu mode ( black screen ) and restore ?

Tried everything incl. DFU, different ports and computers (windows 7 and xp). Phone worked fine before update.
