The iPhone SMS function does not have the option of forwarding SMS's yet but the program called SMSD allows you to forward messages.

More details about the program are in the thread below:

SMSD doesn't work with 1.1.4. Use iSMS instead.

    hello everyone,
i am very, very new to the this so please bear with me. I have bought my iPhone in the UK in Nov 07 and have regularly updated it with the Apple releases,i.e.I am currently on 1.1.4. Anyways, I decided to make better use of the phone and jailbroke it (using iLiberty+....after reading some "terrible" things about ZiPhone and Zibri) last night. I ahve been desperately trying to download an SMS that will let me forward my SMSs(both as SMSs and emails), send contacts etc., etc., i.e. what you would expect from a normal phone. I downloded SMSD but could not get it work....tried fixing it (as recommended by the developer) using Term-vt100 but no joy.

Anyways,I now read about the iSMS app, which sounds good, but cannot find it anywhere.I tried going to the iBlog site recommended above, and added the resource to the list in Installer but still cannot find the iSMS app. Can anyone help?

Neither offer one to send or forward text messages log to their email.

I wish someone could figure out how to get SMSd to do that on a 1.1.4.
Its the only missing app for me

hello, thanks for the reply. hmmmm, iBricker isnt really helping me,in fact I cant get an internet connection now, so I am trying to figure out a way to "remove" it from the iPhone. Can you tell me how can I get the SMSd app to work, everytime I open it it just closes??? Thanks

Has anyone heard from the author of this app SMSD?
What is the feeling on this?
Is he waiting for the firmware 1.2 release so that he can make some dinero for the app??
Or did he just bail, if this be the case is it allowed for another developer to take this app to the next level?
    Thanks
