Phone was activated by redsn0w. If it not, no home screen.

Now install ultrasn0w (via) cydia for the unlock.

On your home screen #2, is Cydia.
    Open cydia
    search for ultrasn0w and select
    Install.

    google is not needed.

Did you connect to a WiFi network before starting Cydia?

Sometimes it takes awhile to acquire the cellular network.

Wait a few more minutes, then Settings / Reset / Reset Network Setting.

Also, verify Settings / General / About / Modem firmware.
    Does it have 6.15.0?

You need to update to 6.15.0 modem firmware (baseband).
It will break GPS accuracy, but it unlocks for any SIM

Run redsn0w one more time, select one (1) option 'install ipad bb".
Nothing else is required, no changes are made, and it should install fairly quickly.

Reboot and it should find the network.

Use Tiny Umbrella again, and retrieve your SHSH blobs. For sure, 4.1 is available
If you have the 4.1 blob, you can restore to it any time in the future using the same procedure.
It's possible an iTunes 10xx error may occur the next time, but TU 'exit recovery' fixes it.

Another utility called iFaith can also be used to save and create a 'pre-signed' firmware which can be used.

4.1 is important. Keep it safe. One day, Apple may stop giving it away free.
Likely you will never need 4.3.5 but it does not hurt to keep.

    Cheers
