    Default Icons
is there a way - hopefully with out to much drama lol - to change an icon so that it "points" do a different app? for example the safari icon instead of starting safari would start perfect browser..

(not trying to change the default browser.. already did that)

i have iPhone with 4.3.5, jail broke with red snow..

Not exactly, but the result if the same ..... Every application resides in a unique directory. Each application directory has a file called icon.png. This is the icon that shows on the Springboard. Change icon.png to something else and respring.

Be careful. Mistakes can be disastrous

This requires some level of experience inside the guts of the iPhone. If you don't have that experience, then stay away.

No simple solution exists (that's I'm aware of)

It's probably best to simply download a theme that you like, then, using a program like iFunBox, rip that theme onto your computer and have a look in the files to see how it's put together

Themes are located in /var/stash/themes. In iFunbox you then just right-click on the folder you want to copy and then choose "send to PC", or the equivalent.

Then you can simply replace whatever icon files you want to replace and then place those folders back into their rightful spot on your device.

It's really not that hard - just remember to stay organized and you'll figure it out in no time!

You could try a paid app called apptivator. It allows you to double tap an icon to open another app. It's on Cydia.

It works with activator. I set mine so when I double tap the camera it opens the photos app. Also set to open skyfire when I double tap safari.
