    Default No WIFI Calling [non-VOIP] on 3G ???
    hello I'm old to Touch, new to iPhone. Trying to work a new to me 3G.
    It seems these are not capable of WIFI calling... am I correct? or am I missing something

    Wi-Fi calling meaning UMA, not VoIP/SIP? In that case, you are correct.

    You mean use wifi for calls instead like skype? If so you can use viber. Or use My 3G to trick your phone into thinking it's on wifi when on 3G.

    You can make wifi calks with viber like skype as long as the other person also has viber

    Or just use skype from the app store

    no. no toys & experiments lke viber. I mean real wifi calling. something apple apparently wants to prevent.
    the go-to app is from these guys Kineto Wireless
    my el cheapo LG P-509 does a great job of it under android, and my 'dumbphone' Nokia 6301 is flawless in that regard [and many other respects]
