I have a question that could be a bit of a silly question. If you restore an iphone that has previously been jailbroken and take it into apple for anmy reason, like maybe the iphone becomes faulty, can apple tell if the device has jailbroken before?? Thanks in advance guys

There are some things that can remain after a normal restore. dFU restore will erase all traces.
He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.
