Default Typing woes, single tap above keyboard moves cursor.

Wondering if there is a way to change how tapping the body of the text when you are typing acts. I find when I'm typing relatively fast and my aim is off for a letter on the top row it will move the cursor to where I taped and thus it mucks up the text. Typically done when writing in email and it will move the cursor to the end of my signature. The iPhone is pretty good at picking up letter mishaps when you're one letter off, but being one letter too high on the top row and your screwed.

It would be nice if the cursor only move when you tap and held, as I find just tapping isn't all that accurate anyhow.

Probably not possibly but are there any jailbreak fixes that can do that? Or custom keyboards that are compatible with 4.3 IOS that maybe add a thicker space above the top row?

    Just my thoughts.

I've never been able to find custom keyboard layouts that weren't for 3.x firmware only. I'll take another look though.
