Thread: Crazy Glitching Screen?

    Default Crazy Glitching Screen?
Does anybody know what is going on with my iPod? I've tried running it in safe mode.. and it works just like it should, but I don't want to use it in that mode all the time.

I have tried to upgrade to 4.0.2,4.1, downgrade to 3.x.. but continually get error code 3194. Fixes for that error code don't work.

    Is my iPod screwed?

Screenie, the sceenshot shows up with a transparent background, but on my ipod the icons seem to multiply themselves and as I visit more page the amount of icons grows exponentially.

If it were hardware it would do it in safemode too. I would say restore and set up as new.

It's fixed now. I uninstalled some Cydia packages.. most of them were the widgets that go onto the springboard, and I guess that didn't run well with OS 4.0.

AS for the restore/DFU mode/backup/etc. methods, none of those worked because of error code 3194, which I've tried numerous times to fix.

Just be careful with what you install.. I guess that's it.
