Unhappy Recover Boot Logo From iPhone
    Ok, so heres my problem.

I have my iPhone 3gs jailbroken and all with customized boot logo, etc.

Now iOS 4.0 is out and i was thinking of upgrading my firmware...
So i got my mac, got a copy of 4.0 firmware and pwnagetools 4.1 and start creating my new ipsw for my 3gs...

Then i get to the part where in need to put in my custom png file for my boot and recovery screen... uh oh, those images were on my broken harddrive!

So now the only copy of my custom boot logos are on my phone :/
I was wondering if there is any way to retrieve these? through SSH or something else?

It would be a real life saver if any1 could help as i really wanna keep my boot logo...

Boot logos are flashed to the NOR so they are inaccessable. I also noticed the default boot logos are in /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app so you can check there, but that might only be the default logos -- worth a try!

Thnx! I was hoping they were accessable but oh well.
Yeah, i've checked there but as you said only default logos there.
Besides they're also encoded in a wierd png format so that when you transfer them to your pc you only see them as blanks. Decoded them with a png decoder i found. (not sure if i can post links so i'll leave that out)

Anyways thanks, going to upgrade to firmware 4.0 and well someday i might extract the files from my hdd but right now i dont think its worth the $100 they charge.
