Honestly i dont think there is a way simply because the web pages safari is opening have reload commands (auto refresh)enabled.

    Apple - Support - Discussions - What makes Safari auto-refresh changing ...

    This should explain why.

Only real way is to get a 3GS. The reason it refreshes is because while normally it keeps Safari open in the background, if system RAM gets low, it will kill the process to free some up. Then when the program gets launched again, it has to re-load the page. On a 3GS, there's usually enough free RAM that Safari isn't forced to exit, so there's no refreshing when you start it up again.

I can't imagine this is solely a ram issue because this happens on my iPad just when I switch between safari tabs..

Has anyone found a way to disable this in the mobile safari code?
