i felt that I really haven't done too much on my recently jb iphone, but I only have 425 mb of 115??. WTF? Should this be a concern? I just ran the rock update so will this magically restore itself to a better number at midnight tonight?

You guys Who can't get cydia or rock to work could try rejailbreaking to fix it.

mj0529, you could ssh or use ifile to go to var/mobile/library/ryp/logs and manually delete the log file or it will just delete tonight at midnight.

If you jailbroke it with blackra1n, then you need afc2add from cydia. If you cant get into cydia you could try to re-jailbreak using redsn0w 0.9.4 and just check the already pwned box.

    ok, sbsetting reads like this:

    Storage: 119 MB on / 2492 MB on /var

what it's saying is that "/" is where your system files are stored, while "/var" is where your apps, music, and all that other crap that people load onto their iphone's. So instead, think of it like this: 119 MB free on your system portion and 2492 MB free on your "user" portion.

Angry iPhone Virus or Hacked...you tell me.
I have a jb iPhone 3GS 16gb model. This is what happened. So, I was going to sleep this morning around 2am and decided to use my sleep cycle app as normal (kinda habit). I awake at 9am and what do I discover? WARNING: YOUR IPHONE DOES NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT MEMORY (or something to that extent). Over the course of 7 hours, 8gb downloaded to my iPhone in the form of...well, according to iTunes while syncing: "other". Apparently, my iPhone dl'ed (from sources unknown) 8gb worth of "other" stuff without my knowledge. Has anyone experienced this before? Not only that, but I checked SBS Settings to see how much memory I had and it kept decreasing...it was decreasing at an alarming rate. I honestly can't tell you what happened, but it was quite irritating, I can tell you that. I don't know what this should be categorized as, but there you go...I hope someone can tell me about it.
