    Default Overclocking iPhone
To babyblue_pimp and Trixter69: it doesn't work... I agree with Duceduc=> it doesn't change anything as Sysinfoplus (babyblue, it answers your question about ram, etc) shows the same: 412 mhz... And to see it, no need of rebooting, as soon as you change the figure from 457 to 533, save it and close it, if you open it again, it's still 457... Try it.

Moreover, as known, iPhone 3G's CPU runs 412mhz, no 457, so I think there is nothing to see with overclocking by changing 457 to 533. Let me know...

Sorry for your (our...) broken dreams of oc in this post... But do somebody has the truth ????

Exclamation overclocked the iphone 2G to 600mhz
i've done all this and set my iphone 2g to 600mhz and its not reccomended as

    1. my iphone no longer can use the wifi and all i get is "No Wi Fi"

    2. it no longer works with the usb cable for pc/charging

    3. its slow as hell !!

any tips on how i could resolve this ? as its quite annoying !!!!!!!

this doesn't overlock. It corrupts your power saver file, therefore the cpu runs at 412 all the time, making it seems overlcoked. to the other guy, if putting the old file back doesn't work, restore.
