Thread: Tv out

    Default Tv out
I have an iPhone 3GS ver 3.0.1. I purchased the official Apple Component AV Cable for $49. Set TV Out to Widescreen "ON". I connected the iPhone to my Vizio HD TV using the 3 video and 2 audio jacks. Set my TV to Analog HD1. Started a video on the iPhone. No success. Then I set the TV to Analog HD2 (because it wasn't clear on the TV which set of jacks I was using). Still no luck.

    Any suggestions?

    Default TV Out is working
When you first hook up the cables, there is no indication that anything is working. You just need to begin the Slide Show on the iPhone.

There are a few issues however: When the slide show starts, it will stop when it encounters the first video. You can play the video by pressing the Right Arrow. Once that finishes, everything is manual.

But at least I have the basic function working with the Component Cables.
