    Default iPhone 3GS endless reboot
    My iPhone 3GS is stuck in an endless reboot.
    Seing as in im away from my laptop and will not be back home untill september, is there any way to fix this withought a restore?

    Probably not.

    You COULD try just holding power and the Home button down for 10 seconds, then letting go of just the power button. That has worked for me in the past, without needing a computer and without having to restore.

    no. i managed to do this when i first got my iphone and didnt realize that DFU mode is achieved a completely different way. i tried doing it the old way and it ended up with an endless boot cycle. all you have to do is put it into DFU and recover and your fine.....but you will need a pc for that
    The beatings will continue until morale improves.

    I had to do this when I was away from home for a while also, the only way u can do this is to find some kind of hotel and hope to god their lobby has a comp with iTunes..
