    Using WinSCP .... it is case sensitive. Glad you're ok. Everybody just be careful! Substitute -print for -exec rm -rf {} \; and first scrutinize the resulting output. There are English language directories named both English.lproj and en.lproj.

    It worked for me with my extra precautions .... for the entire iPhone

    find / -type d -name "*.lproj" -not -iname "English.lproj" -not -iname "en.lproj" -print
    ....... then after verifying the output..... replace -print with -exec rm -rf {} \;

    These are the 'en.lproj' files I found on a different iPhone (3G, 3.0.1):
    Code:

    I am using putty, and I cannot get it to work. I am having the same problem that a couple of others have referenced. I copy and paste the code from this post:

    http://modmyi.com/forums/general-iph...rmance-12.html

    When I run that code I get the error "find: -missing argument to '-exec'

    Does anyone know why?

    Never used putty. Would think it works the same way.

    Can you try WinSCP? Also, the punctuation is absolutely important to make it work correctly. Proper spaces, quotes, etc. Instead of c/p, try looking at the computer screen and typing in manually -- character by character. Precision counts!!

    I also tried winscp and when I run the command it terminates the connection. I did try typing it in manually a couple of times to mobile terminal and no luck.

    As a side note, I went in and manually deleted these files on a few apps. As noted earlier, it DRAMATICALLY speeds up Safari. Mail loaded noticably quicker also. I tried it with sms as well and perhaps there was some difference, but not as much as with Safari and Mail.

    Like angie said, both she and I use WinSCP and it worked without a problem.

    You mean how to SSH?
    Check Cydia's open page and go to the How to SSH or something.
