    Default Sorry....1015 error
So I f'd up and thought it would be a good idea to get the 3.1 beta. It wasn't. So now it's telling me I'm not part of the developer deal, and of course it won't let me restore to 3.0.

So, my question is: Is there any way to fix this? Or am I just going to have to wait until 3.1 is released?

Have you tried restoring while using DFU mode?

I tried it through pwnage and it didn't work. I'll try it just going through itunes and see what it does.

    Thanks

EDIT: It did not work. Error 1015, same as before.

I guess the only thing now is to have a dev add you to their account. I might be wrong though.

    Here are the options:

    1. You can find a dev to add you to their account. Most devs will do it for a small donation of $5 or something

    2. You can do a DFU restore and then when you get to the 1015 error, run redsn0w. This has worked for me about 70% of the time. If this doesn't work then let me know and I will find you a dev to register with.

    3. You also could become a gold account member and these problems would just fix themselves

I tried running redsn0w after the error but it tells me it doesn't recognize my specified ispw. I think the ispw I have though is from a pwnage restore I did. I'll try to find a real version of it.

So I got the phone working again. Paid a developer 5.00 and he activated it for me. My MMS is working now. It also changed my carrier settings to 4.2

Error 1013 / 1015 is typically caused by attempts to downgrade the iPhone or iPod touch's software. This can occur when you attempt to restore using an older .ipsw file. Downgrading to a previous version is not supported. To resolve this issue, attempt to restore with the latest iPhone or iPod touch software available from Apple.
