Thread: Battery Percentage Indicator?

    Default Battery Percentage Indicator?
Where did this come from. In some pics and videos og the 3G and the 3G S I see a "67%" next to the picture of the battery indicating how much battery power is left. I could have sworn this was going to be a 3.0 update, but I've had 3.0 GM for a week now, and I don't have it.

    Can anyone explain?

I have it on mine, its actually kind of annoying. Hopefully when the dev team jailbreak comes out I can go back to the way it used to be, If you touched the battery icon it would show you the percent.

    It's on mine, too.

I didn't like it at first, but I'm starting to now. I just wish they picked a better font for it. Not very Apple-y.

Once jailbreaking is available for 3.0 final, you'll be able to edit a plist to enable the battery percentage indicator. I did this with the 3.0 betas.

May I ask, what was the Cydia app you installed to enable that? I would love a percentage indicator, that only displays when tapped.

Are you saying that the feature was in our "iPhone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore" firmware ... just not enabled for iPhone 3G's?

    Thanks so much.
