Thread: anyone know what this is?

Default anyone know what this is?
the weird black circles on my email and phone icon.. i was messin with winterboard and now these came up..

    any help?

I'm guessing they are loading circles to show which apps are currently running. If you use Processes with SBSettings you see that Phone and Mail are always running in the background. Try opening another program in the background, like iPod, to see if this hypothesis is correct.

This is just an educated guess and I have no idea how to get rid of them because I've never seen those before.

well i use backgrounder.. and ur right it shows that its running in the background cause i backgrounded another app and it showed up..

well now i kno it isnt a bad thing lol.. but hopefully someone knows how to make them go away, unless im doomed to see them as long as i have the backgrounder app!!

EDIT: Those little circles are part of backgrounder now, they show you whats running. So, if you want them gone you gotta uninstall backgrounder.

Or just replace it with a transparent image. I think that deleting it might cause for some errors.

I just download SSH and they went away them selfs ???

  15. #13
Well there is no program called SSH. It would depend on your Operating System. WinSCP for Windows and Cyberduck for OSX.
Here is a guide on how to SSH:
SSH on Windows - ModMyi - Wiki

Not without rewriting the app. So no.

i used GIMP to edit all my transparent/iphone stuff..
but u can pull the badge from the file. edit it with GIMP, just take the eraser and erase the image and save. then drop it back into the application folder where it belongs..

i havent tried it, cause im perfectly fine with just deleting the badge, but my idea should work just fine if you want to make it transparent
