    Default iPhone 3G button problem
    Hi,
    I've got an 8 gig iPhone 3G.
My question is that my niece did something to it and the phone became disabled.
(Messing around with the password on the main screen, doesn't matter, when i get home I will sort it out on my computer which it is synced with)
My question is: is the home button became unresponsive if the phone is disabled (permanently, after god knows how many tries) because I have a feeling that it doesn't work any more.

    thanks

Not sure what you're problem is, but you'll probably have to restore it.

To disable an iphone you have to input the wrong passcode 10 times. So, yeah, it's always a good idea to give it to kids to mess about with

    Hi,
    Thanks for the reply.
Since the phone become disabled the home button doesn't work.
I am not sure if she did something else to it as well (apart from the password messing) or it is a normal thing to get the home button unresponsive (security thing or something like that) if the phone is disabled.

The home button wont work because you are locked out of your phone. You need to restore the phone using iTunes. Sorry
