    Default Spinning Circle of Death
whats up guys weird things happening, when i try to install any new programs from installer they install and then when it goes to the spinning circle before it goes back to unlock screen it just gets stuck at the spinning circle of death, when i do a reset on the phone after that to try and get it running again it gets stuck at the apple logo screen, what i have to do to get out of this is SSh into the phone and delete that new program folder that i just installed and it then gets me back to normal but it happens with any new program i install any ideas, suggestions, fixes?

Sounds like your installer .plist files might be corrupt. Every time you install a program, it tries to update the .plist and gets stuck.

One bad thing about installer, it doesn't re-create the .plists if they're missing. So a restore is the only way to go.

Sure, if you have a copy of it. Make sure to also wipe all the files in ~/Library/Installer

Problem is Installer.app is installed by other programs, like Ziphone. Don't know if you can download the latest version by itself. Someone here probably knows though.
