    Default push email?
So lately I've been reading a lot about this whole "push" thing and from what I understand it's just something to automatically get your email instantly when you receive it, without having to fetch so often on your email. But then I was reading something about push e-mail only being available with Microsoft Exchange Server. I have a 3G running on 2.2.1 and I notice under the e-mail settings that there is a toggle to switch push on or off. Does this "Push" enable push for all my email accounts or just for the Exchange Server?

oh wow, that DOES suck. Although I do have a copy of exchange laying around here... might fool around with it a bit and see if I can get my gmail to push... or for that matter my hotmail (instead of izymail).

Anyone use exchange much? Am i just having some weird fantasy about it? lol

    dont bother

if your server isnt pushing the email to your client then it will not work

    exchange will still use fetch
