Default Possible to SSH to iphone over 3G?
I was wondering if I could ssh from my mac to my iphone over 3G while im at work with no wifi? I tried using cyberduck on my mac and my data ip address, but it wouldn't connect.

Also, can i do the reverse and ssh my mac with mobile terminal over 3G?

    Thanks for any help

I have a WinPC and use "iphone tunnel". It allows you to SSH without wifi. Dont know if they offer it for Mac or not.

On mac, click airport in the top right then create a network.

Now on your iPhone, search for the wifi network you just created on your mac and join it.

Now open up sbssettings and you will have a WiFi IP address, use this IP address as your login address for cyberduck along with port 22, user: root and pass: (Whatever you set, default = alpine)

You can then ssh the same as you would over wifi.

Great! Thanks for that. I will try this when I get home.
