Thread: iPhone on Verizon?

  1. #1
    Question iPhone on Verizon?
This might sound crazy. I used to KNOW that it wasn't possible because of GSM vs. CDMA. However today someone on twitter was talking about how they use their iPhone on Verizon. So I looked it up and there's tons of videos of it on youtube. They actually call 611 and it says "welcome to Verizon Wireless".

So what's the deal? Is it possible?

Verizon has way better coverage. They also claim to be the largest 3g network. Hopefully their data is cheaper too. If this is possible I'll do it today.

    Anybody shed some light?

Well it would be pretty damn easy to fake but what would be the point?

My thoughts exactly. The more info links to a website that's supposed to have instructions on how to do it but then it just links to another website with garbage.

Anybody that would take the time to do that has no life.

what a stupid thing to waste your time on.

    I can't believe that:
    a) People would waste their time doing this and
    b) Anyone would believe them!
He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

Lol. Before I read down to the video showing how it was faked.....

I was already like, ok.....use MIM to say "Verizon" and add a contact called "611" to call the verizon #...duh.
