Is there anyway with fw: 2.2.1 to transfer contacts tot he Sim Card?
I know iSim used to work with earlier FW, but I cant seem to find a app to do this now.

I was actually looking to export the contacts.

iSim used to offer this as an option but it didn't go to the FW: 2.0 change.

    Any idea?

    Thanks

Don't you synch your contacts to your computer?

yeah I've always wondered why this is not an option in settings. I mean every other cell phone has it.

Well I do sync to Outlook but I am really looking for the ability to move my contact onto the sim card from the iPone contacts app.
Sync'ing, copies between contacts and outlook not onto the sim.
    Thanks

AFAIK there is no app to do this.
Could I ask why you want them on the SIM?
SIM's tend to be able to hold a limited number of contacts and limited details per contact. It has been many years since I have ever had a contact on a SIM.
But obviously you have a reason (otherwise you wouldn't be asking!)

Well I need to swap with a blackberry.
The blackberry is on a Enterprise BES server.
So I cant sync my personal contacts with the blackberry.
I also don't want my personal contacts to sync to the Corp Outlook profile.
That is my major issue with a bb.
You can't seem to be able to create different profiles that are seperate from the Corp account.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

    I see your problem.
I would probably post in a BB forum and ask if it's possible to synch with outlook and BES - it's been many years since I had a BB so I'm afraid I can't help.
If you can't then I think you're going to have to use an intermediary - either another phone or a SIM reader that allows you to synch outlook directly to your SIM.
I have not heard of any iPhone app that allows you to do it directly on the iPhone, sorry.

Well I used to use a app called iSim but it doesn't work on a version 2.0 and up fw.
It would have been perfect for what I need to do.
I am not looking to sync my personal contacts over into my BB I only what to get them onto my sim card.
I can switch between device and sum when I need to.
There must be a app our that would allow a iPhone user to move the contacts onto the sim card.

    Thanks

I think it automatically saves to the SIM with the new firmware I could be incorrect but...I got a kids number and had to restore to an older firmware and it wouldn't allow me to restore from back up so i had to re import my contacts and his number was there. So I think if you add them to your iPhone manually it will save to your SIM automatically.

His SIM must have been used in another phone before. The iPhone does NOT save to SIM

I met the kid put his number into my IPHONE and like 3 days later my story occurred so SIM was never in another phone.

Which iPhone do you have? The 3G certainly doesn't - I've never seen a 2G but I'd be very surprised if it was that primitive.

I have the 1st gen. I would put in another number and restore my phone to confirm it 100% but it's too much of a PITA to do it for kicks. But I know 100% that that happened, because I was bummed I lost the kids number and then it showed up there and I was excited.
