    Default Unjailbraking My Iphone?
Almost everyone i know has an iphone and im the only one with the jailbroken one and that makes everyone wanna see mine more then anyone elses . but the only thing is that my battery drains like crazzzzzy everyone is like at 80% and im at 20% .everyday at school i have to take my charger re charge my iphone 3rd period and by the time i get home my battery is around 30%. i have about 3 pages of cracked apps and cydia apps i have open ssh on it ,pdanet ,cycorder etc.
today i woke up like at 8 and now its 11:45 and my battery is at 45% i charged it all night and it sometimes over heat
couple weeks ago i restarted my iphone and it was fine battery lasted me 2 days

so im wondering is this a issue with the jailbrake 2.2.1?

    should i restore it?

i love having a jailbroken phone
i just hate that the battery drains quick

oh and when i put my phone on airplane mode then take it off 10% of my battery drains in a minute

I honestly don't experience a battery drain like you describe. However, I'm fairly busy during the day and don't get a whole lot of an opportunity to use it. But the reasons that I see for leaving it jailbroken are as follows:

    1) Backgrounds (standard on even the cheapest of phones)
    2) Backgrounder (love it)
    3) Sbsettings (toggles, poof, concealed dock, and respring)
    4) 5 icon dock
    5) GPSphone (or any of the other emulators for that matter)
    6) Quake (again, props zodttd)
    7) SSH
    8) Ringtones
    9) WeDict inputs (websters)
    10) Appeal of actually using your hardware to the fullest extent (and making people go "Woah!")
    Viruses
    Intruders
    Spyware
    Trojans and
    Adware

    Windows Vista

Yeah, that doesn't sound like a normal jailbreak side affect. I would restore, and see if the battery drain continues on stock firmware. If it does, then take it into apple. But if it's back to normal, then rejailbreak, and see how it goes.

Leave it jailbroken, Install SBSettings and processes add on. WHen you play with anyhting on your iphone, open up processes and shut off anything except phone. Turning off wifi when you are not using it will help too. If you are in an area where there is a weak signal or one where th esignal keeps switching between networks or between 3G and edge. That will kill your battery life as well.

my battery seems to have been unaffected if not slightly improved by the 2.2.1 update

install toggle ssh and disable when you arent using ssh you will notice a substantial improvement in battery life

    reasons:

    poof (hide apps)
    MMS
    landscape text keyboard
    themes
