Default Delete data without screen/access to iPhone
I have a 2G iPhone with screen damage so I can't actually see anything but it works fine plugged into iTunes I can browse all my music and they play and it receives calls.

I've read that a simple restore won't delete all your data (contacts, email, SMS) so does anyone have any ideas how I can clean it without direct access to the phone?

    Thanks

It's actually on firmware 2.2 now, if that makes a difference to anything.

    A restore will delete everything.

Every and anything. Apps, music, videos, contacts, SMS, email accounts and messages, photos. Want it completely clean.

Read something on iPhone Atlas about how if you restored your iPhone contact information and SMS's could still be retrieved...
