    Default ...help the guy out
dirty bird you sound pretty harsh (and a hypocrite) in your comment, a person whos ironically on a site that is FOR homebrewing and such

besides, you either help or you don't (god what a jerk)

besides updating cracked apps is important to know, because sometimes a site may not want to upload a certain app, and if thats the case you NEVER get the newer version

I guess Im going to sound real harsh then....

We do not allow/tolerate ANY type of cracked/warez/pirated discussion of any sorts, ever. end.

Hacking the iphone isnt illegal, your comparing apples to oranges.

The fact is MMI does not want to be associated with crack apps or enabling access to said apps

We have many friends who are developers....associating ourselves with cracking apps would be no more than slapping them in the face.

Also, we have already paid for a few legal battles with Apple, it gets expensive.....and we dont want to have any more.

cpjr doesnt lie when he says that things get expensive when dealing with apple, look at the prices of their products let alone the price of a lawsuit with them

^The biggest flaw in your argument there....."Apple says"

Jailbreaking is only "illegal" according to Apple, and Apple doesnt make the law.

There has been NO court judgment to conclude that jailbreaking is indeed illegal.

    However, pirating software is.

Just so you know, it is illegal to jailbreak an iPod/iPhone.

Apple filed these comments, in opposition, which is the first time it's explicitly said that jailbreaking itself is illegal ('cause copyright infringement is, well, not legal). The bottom line, according to Apple, is that the act of jailbreaking itself constitutes copyright infringement because it "involves infringing uses of the bootloader and OS, the copyrighted works that are protected by the TPMs being circumvented."
