Thread: Removing appstore applications

    Question Removing appstore applications
Does anybody know how to remove applications that were already installed on the iphone when I purchased it (calender, clock, stocks, etc.)? I know how to remove the ones I installed but there's a few apps that I can't get rid of but I never use.

Why would you want to do that?
I have never done so, but if you want, they are located at

    /private/var/stash/Applications/

    GoodLuck.

Yeah, like said above. SSH in and delete the apps.

Deleting the Apps can cause Springboard to screw up and hang as the default display order relies on them. Hide them.
Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.

Yes, use Poof in BossPrefs to hide apps.
