Default Why anything less than 2.0?
It has occurred to me that alot of people are running old firmware. Perhaps I'm a noob, and I wouldnt deny it. It just seems as though alot of people are running 1.1.1 or 1.1.2. What, if any, are the advantages/disadvantages of this?

well i dont know 1.1.1/2, but 1.1.3/4 are very very stable and only have a few features missing. Sure, the appstore is big; but for some people, stability is more important than features

2.0 is solid as a rock for me, I only have a problem with the keyboard not returning back to normal letters if I flip it over to numbers. I have to do it manually rather than it doing it on space. I have the chromium keyboard though and don't know if that's doing it or not.

Otherwise it's a damn fine setup with no issues.

Only other FW worth having is 1.0.2 and RSBT + Customize all separate with icons lining the dock for miles

Some people have fear of change, and some refuse to be another passenger on the bandwagon.

As far as iPhone firmware goes, the users obviously have not use the "real" applications provided within the App Store.
