Is iTunes recognizing it? if so, then try restoring 1.1.1 a second time. then try iBrickr.

Yeah you have to Shift+Restore 1.1.1 TWICE before using iBrickr.

I'm seeing the same thing has anybody else seen this. I can get iBrickr to boot my phone back up. I've restored the firmware TWICE as mentioned in the guide. In iBrickr this is what I see:

    ex_phonequalify
    s_iPhoneInterface
    s_Logging in restore.log: 0
s_I NEED A WAY TO EXIT THIS MODE
s_To exit, you need to do a full restore
    r_recovery
    s_readvalue ProductVersion: 0
    r_recovery
    s_system echo iPhone found: 0
    r_recovery

Try using Iphuc and use the command 'cmd fsboot' then enter, this should take you out of DFU mode. The phone looks like nothing is happening for a minute or so, if it reboots and goes back into DFU again type the command again, worked for me

I restored 1.1.3 then 1.1.1 twice and then I used the 1.1.2jb to boot from recovery.

    worked like a charm =)

    P.S.
You need to DFU Restore 1.1.3
    Then DFU Restore 1.1.1
    Then Restore 1.1.1

I need an EXTREMELY idiot proof way of downgrading my firmware from 1.1.4 back to 1.1.2. By the way I'm using windows XP
