Unhappy PC Crashed!!! Will I be able to restore Pics/Music to Mac Computer?
Like the title says my PC hard drive a failed. Came home to the Blue Screen of Death. Also, I didn't create any backups of the hard drive. My question is that since I had all my music and pictures copied to the Iphone, can I recover them to a new computer(Just purchased a MAC)?

If so, where are the pictures and music located on the iPhone? I have searched but haven't found any answers. I tried to sync the iPhone to a different computer and it wanted to over write what was on the iPhone. I want to move what's on the iPhone onto a computer? Is it possible?

    Please Help,

    Thanks...

You can't do it with iTunes. The Mac will just recognize it as a new device. BUT, the Mac has programs that can download the music/videos from your iPhone without the need to sync with iTunes. Check www.versiontracker.com, its the best Mac resource out there.

The iPhone stores all media (Music, Video, Pictures) in the iTunes_Control folder in your Media folder. You won't recognize any of it however, since iTunes uses its own method of organization and retrieval.
Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.
