yeh hope its still under warranty and have it replaced with a new phone from apple.. Try to restore with itunes(helps sometimes) if it doesnt just leave it stock and go get a replacement. Good Luck

Usually Restore will just fix anything software related

Happend once with one of my pals, water somehow seeped though the glass and caused part of the touchscreen to malfunction. Should go ahead and return it, unless your water sensor turned a different color.

    Where is the Water Sensor?

Its located inside the headphone jack, it should be a white to gray color, if it turns any other color, like a redish orange, it has been set off (meaning you got water in the jack), and apple can refuse to repair/replace the phone. Normally, you can cover it with a small piece of tissue paper, which may help.

ok first i am not a legit iphone user. so no warranty. second i cant find the water damage thing but now that i think about it i think it was water damage as i was trying to put a invisishield on it the night before it broke and i attempted to get the shield on many times and it uses water which probably got under the bottom screen. since i cant go to apple any other suggestions?

edit: also the headphone jack water damage thing is white so it must be minute damage.
