Thread: Restoring 1.1.1

    Default Restoring 1.1.1
I recently ran into some issues with Camera Pro and the Apple Camera app, and while I'm trying to sort it out, restoring is a last resort.

I bought my iPhone with 1.1.1 and have never downloaded/upgraded in any way after the 'easy' no-PC method of unlocking and jailbreaking.

What I am wondering is if I need to restore the 1.1.1 software, can this easily be done through iTunes? Would I be able to use the same unlocking/jailbreaking method I used the first time?

I'm not really experienced with other/more complicated ways of unlocking the phone, so I just want to know if this is possible before I attempt it.

Yes you just have to make sure that you download the 1.1.1 firmware file from the downloads section. Make sure you hold down shift when u press restore so u can pick the correct firmware. Otherwise u will get updated to 1.1.3 which cant be hacked yet.
