Default Re-Load/Install Apps after Restore or Upgrade?
Like many people I have spent alot of time adding apps to my iphone. In the beginning of my unlocking an modding process it caused me so much frustration if I had to restore my phone. Mainly because of the time it take to reinstall applications using installer or ID2.

So my question is if I copy my applications folder content to my computer can I simply paste the content back into the iphone applications folder after restoring the phone or upgrading to newer software (1.1.2 in this case)?

    Thanks

As long as installer.app is there and the phone itself is the same firmware version you had before this should be fine. Be careful that you are only doing application files and not rewriting anything else. in theory it shouldn't matter, but you only want to change the files you had before. The order of you icons might be a little scrambled, but that can be fixed. I did this method with like 4 apps, not the 20+ that I have now. Again, in theory they should all work the same but stranger things have happened!
