Thread: Photo sync problem

    Default Photo sync problem
    Hi all

How do I sync pictures on iphone from OSX without putting all the pictures in one folder?

I mean I have my albums in sorted in folders somewhere on my HDD but I dont want to move them when I sync, and I dont want to make copies of them.

Making Alias seems not to work, is there a work around so that itunes sees my photos from my sync folder and I can route others files there?

if your pictures are already sorted in folders, you should be able to choose what folder you want to sync but you can't choose individual pictures to sync. i use iphoto to organize my photos so i created a file called iphone and underneath that i created "categories" and put my pictures that i want on my iphone in there to be organized

i mean they are in folders and subfolders everywhere in my hdd. i dont want to duplicate my pictures (or making thumbnails in iphoto or aperture) as they take up loads of hdd space

I just want to sync pictures from different places in my hdd. I know iphoto/aperture can do it. But i'd rather not.

I tried using swapphoto so i get 2 libraries, but its not swapping on my 1.1.4
