Thread: Anyone still running 1.0.2?

    Default Anyone still running 1.0.2?
I am so happy with the way my phone is modded I just never made any updates.

Anyone else still running the old school version 1.0.2

There hasnt been anything in the new versions to make me want to attempt to update. I could care less about half the stuff apple has put out in the update.

So who else is running it?

I'm still running 1.0.2. I haven't seen any reason to upgrade either.

i kept mine at 1.0.2 for along time i just did the update like 3 weeks ago but after i did it i was glad i did, playing music is much simpler, most apps are for 1.1.1 and above, and a few others, but if i knew how involved i would of got in doing the upgade i would of kept at 1.0.2

ps the update was a pain cuz i messed it up thinking i knew what i was doing.

As the good Dr. Channard said when he became a Cenobite: "And to think, I hesitated".

Despite your reluctance, which I had as well, its not just the features to consider when upgrading, its the stability and speed. You'll have noticeable improvements in program engagement and smoother scrolling, which is improved in 1.11, but much improved in 1.12
Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.

Yeah I stuck with 1.0.2 until jailbreakme.com because had no knowleddge of jailbreaking. 1.0.2 was great but after 1.1.2, most developers starts making there apps only compatible with 1.1.1 and above, so I took the plunge...

I'm still running 1.0.2. I haven't seen any reason to upgrade. Waiting for the 1.1.3 upgrade before I virginize my phone... don't want to do it to many times

Guys, if you are scared of hacking, just restore and go to 1.1.1 and use jailbreakme.com. It worked perfectly for me...

There are plenty, just check the guides section.
Lol my friend uses 1.0.2 and he's getting more and more angry because his safari keeps crashing and not very many apps support his version phone now. Glad I updated as well, those safari bugs pissed me off...

    Two words. Vertical Scrolling!

1.0.2 is still better than 1.1.1 and there is too much BS to get to 1.1.2. But I just might jump for 1.1.3

The Big Question Is: Will You Stay On 1.0.2 When The New Update Comes Out With New Maps, Text, And Bookmarks On The Home Screen. And Rumors Of Mms ?????

Name ONE, just ONE USEFUL, CREDIBLE THING 1.0.2 has that 1.1.1 doesn't.

i use 1.0.2 and 1.1.2... i make themes for 1.1.2 because most stuff works better on 1.1.2. but when i go to 1.1.2 i get the "No Wi-Fi" problem. so whenever i know im going to need wifi i downgrade to 1.0.2 because it restores my wifi. but 1.1.2 is better.

easiest way to go to 1.1.2 is to do the oktoprep on 1.0.2. and then UPDATE (not restore) to 1.1.2 then use the jailbreak.jar method. the phone should stay unlocked (if it was previously unlocked).
